Greetings!  Thank you for exploring CranioSacral therapy in San Diego, Oceanside, and other parts of Californa. I provide CranioSacral treatment in my healing center in Oceanside, or in the client’s private home in San Diego all the way north to Oceanside, and inland as far as Vista - and by arrangement, in Northern California.

I am Kathleen McBain, the owner of CST Oceanside.  In addition to providing craniosacral treatment,  I am a musician, healer, and intuitive.  I am able to provide additional healing services such as music therapy, Himalayan Bowls, and vocal toning.

Craniosacral treatment, as described by Dr. John Upledger,  is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiologic body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch of generally no greater than the weight of a nickel or a quarter, this gentle treatment can hep the body release restrictions in the craniosacral system and in other areas  so that resistance to disease is enhanced.  In addition, it is effective for a wide range of health issues including migraines, chronic neck and back pain, motor coordination impairments, colic, orthopedic problems, traumatic brain, spinal cord and other injuries, chronic fatigue, stress and tension-related problems, fibromayalgia and other connective tissue disorders, post surgical issues.

I often volunteer at facilities, and private homes in North San Diego County to provide end-of-life comfort.  Because the touch is very light, craniosacral treatment offers ease and rest at an important life event.

When vocal sound, or toning is added to the mix, the incoming energy is multiplied and amplified.  Vibrations between voice and craniosacral touch become entrained with each other, providing an intensity that is not available through any other means.  Often, Himalayan singing bowl sounds are added to craniosacral and vocal treatments- at which time the incoming energy is especially vibrant and healing more profound.
